THERE will be an extra tasty choice of where to eat for passengers flying out of Gatwick Airport - as Nando's has landed at the South Terminal.
The new airport restaurant, opened yesterday (Wednesday) and will be the first Nando's to serve a breakfast option in the form of a chicken roll.
This will be available as a grab-and-go in the hope it will appeal to travellers in a rush to get to the departure gates.
Seating 220 people at any time, the airside eatery has created 135 new jobs ranging from cashiers to grillers, and assistant managers to a newly created barista role for passengers in need of a caffeine boost.
Tables at Nando's first-ever airport restaurant will also have USB charging points.
