A MAN had part of his left ear bitten off as he was attacked by two men in the street.
Sussex Police have released CCTV photos of a man they would like to speak to about the incident.
A 24-year-old man was attacked shortly after 12.30am on Sunday, March 30, near the junction of New Road and North Street, in Brighton.
Police have only today (July 24) appealed for the public's help to catch the attackers.
The victim was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Detective Constable Christopher Hike said: "This was a nasty incident in which the victim sustained permanent injuries to his ear and had to undergo emergency surgery.
"We would like to speak to the man captured on CCTV who is holding a white phone in his hand and was wearing black jeans, a blue coat and light coloured shoes."
