IF you are worried about the recent sunny weather coming to an abrupt end there's no need to - as it could last for the next month.
The Met Office's long-range forecast is for the dry and warm weather to continue almost constantly until close to the end of August.
This week, apart from a small risk of thunderstorms on Thursday, forecasters predict that there isn't likely to be any rain until Sunday afternoon.
And temperatures could reach a sweltering 28 degrees, just shy of last week's hottest day of the year so far, when they reached 29.9 degrees.
Up until August 6 the Met office predicts "largely fine and dry weather" and that it will "remain warm or very warm".
Between August 7 and 21 "settled conditions are expected to persist".
Temperatures should "remain above average", with the latter half of August seeming to be more prone to outbreaks of showers.
